We teach beginning through advanced piano lessons, guitar lessons and drum lessons in most styles of music. We teach children and adults. Our teachers have an enthusiastic, low-keyed positive approach.
We develop each student's creative power and musicality - along with technique, counting and musical analysis. We also instill confidence in our students, and make the lessons fun and interesting. Our teachers use traditional and innovative teaching techniques to achieve the best results.

meet the teachers

 MITCH ODOM teaches piano and is the Director of the academy. He believes that music should be fun and rewarding. He has a positive outlook and energetic yet low key approach.
Mitch's encouragement, compliments and humor make your learning experience fruitful. And after all, isn't this is why we have music lessons – to enrich our lives and help bring us happiness?
MARC ANGEL is our drum teacher. Marc teaches drum lessons with a passion! He has been teaching for several years, and has been a drummer since he was eleven years old. Marc is a seasoned performer and can be seen playing in local area clubs.
As Marc puts it, his goal is to "pass along the passion and mind opening experince of enjoying music lessons."
STEVE HUIE is the academy guitar and bass teacher. Steve's background is significant. He plays several instruments and has been a touring musician as well as a teacher for many years. Steve is also a great piano tuner!
